Artist Personally Donates ‘Sacred Arch’ in Support of Nevada’s Grant a Gift Foundation

Earlier this month, Peter Lik made a heartfelt appearance at the Grant a Gift™ Autism Foundation (GGAF) event, Gift for Autism, which took place at the luxurious home of a generous donor in Henderson, Nevada. Highlighted by an inspiring presentation and contribution from the Artist himself, this important fundraiser marked the first of many future philanthropic team-ups between the non-profit LIK Foundation, and the Nevada-based non-profit, GGAF, a “community safety net” for thousands of locals in need.

Event attendees, also enjoyed seeing many of Peter’s classic masterworks up close and listened intently when he spoke to the room: “Everyone can appreciate a beautiful photograph because a photograph speaks all languages and all words,” the Artist stated. “I just want to dedicate this evening to everyone here and to everyone with autism. We’re going to make sure this world is a better place.”

Later that night, Peter’s acclaimed image, Sacred Arch, valued at $15,000, was successfully auctioned off to help benefit Nevada families and individuals facing this challenging disorder. Jeremy Meeter, National Sales Director for LIK Fine Art, helped to organize the event and was on hand to witness its impact: “Working with GGAF has been a truly rewarding experience for us and for Peter,” he relays. “Seeing the emotion and passion on everyone’s face that night just made our mantra of ‘Charity through Art’ feel even more worthwhile. Thanks to all who contributed – we couldn’t be more excited to do it again in the near future.”
