Peter Lik Helps Raise Money for Candle Lighters Childhood Cancer Foundation

Updated 07/28/2021
Throughout the calendar year, Peter’s Vegas-based LIK USA consistently donates some of the artist’s greatest landscape pieces to various reputable charities around the globe.

On Friday night, in the buzzing city of Las Vegas, the Master Photographer brought some smiles to the attendees at the World Market Center after one of his latest pieces was impressively auctioned off for over $5,000.

Entitled Evening of Hope 2015 (EOH), Friday night’s event was hosted by the Candle Lighters Childhood Cancer Foundation of Nevada (CCCFN) in hopes of raising more awareness and funds for children living with the devastating illness. During the gala event, many items were auctioned off, including a 1.5-meter print of Peter Lik’s Pacific Reflections (seen above). This magical vision of a peaceful sunrise off the coast of Molokai, Hawaii is one of Peter’s latest and greatest.

To the delight of Friday’s attendees, Pacific Reflections went to the highest bidder for $5,600 – well above retail price – and all proceeds have since been donated to CCFN. Peter commented: “It always feels good to have my work benefit a worthwhile cause. To have it happen in my own backyard is a tremendous bonus.” CCCFN was founded in 1978 and is a non-profit agency that provides support and services for families of children diagnosed with cancer. According to an inside source at LIK USA, “CCCFN is a wonderful charity and we are proud to be of any assistance to them. We look forward to working with the foundation in the future.”
